Description

A traditional hot wax formulated to combat excessively dry, scaly or thickened skin with its emollient properties. Titanium Dioxide forms a protective shield between the hair and the skin for gentle removal. Perfect to use in colder climates and winter months. 

Enriched with Shea butter for an exquisite creamy texture and medium drying time. Brittle free ensuring no crystallization. Bio wax is composed of organic raw materials like natural pine rosin, and resin from soy glycerin. Delicately fragranced.

Depilève Traditional Hot Waxes are our modern take on traditional formulas. With the latest Bio-Based Pine Resins, Beeswax and Paraffin to increase emollience, reduce brittleness and prevent crystallization. Traditional Hot Wax is applied in a thick layer and has a much denser texture.

1. Spray Dermobalance Lotion onto cotton pads and gently wipe over the area to cleanse. 

2. If waxing a larger area, spray Pre-Waxing Oil onto the skin and massage until absorbed. 

3. Stretching the skin, apply a thick layer of wax with our signature ‘figure-of-8’ movement, in the direction of hair growth. Ensure the edges are applied thicker. 

4. Wait until the wax has hardened before stretching the skin and pressing the tip of the spatula at a 90° angle onto the thicker edge of the wax. Pull the spatula up to lift the edge of the wax. 

5. Stretching the skin, firmly grasp the lifted edge and remove against the direction of hair growth in a quick, swift movement. Ensure the hand removing is kept as flat and parallel to the skin as possible. 

6. Apply Folisan onto cotton pads and gently wipe over before applying a generous amount of either Vital Derm pH or Soothing Cream. Massage until absorbed.
