Description

The SkinMate Natural Algae Gel Masks with Vitamin C is a professional grade detoxifying mask-to-massage-gel that is activated with water or water mixed with an ampoule or toner to form a luxuriously thick hydro-gel texture. Designed for advanced facial treatments, it cleanses, refines, and revitalises the skin while providing an excellent medium for manual massage techniques.

 

Formulated With

  • Alginate from Brown Algae: Forms a moisture-retaining, tightening surface film on the skin, binding impurities and dead skin cells during massage. Supports detoxification while maintaining hydration.
  • Marine Polysaccharies: Supports hydration and skin barrier restoration for a smoother overall appearance.
  • Squalane: A biomimetic lipid that helps to restore barrier function, reduce moisture loss, and improve skin softness.
  • Vitamin C: A stable, water-soluble form of Vitamin C brightens the skin and provides antioxidant protection. Supports a more even skin tone, helps defend against environmental stressors, and contributes to skin clarity and radiance.

How to apply:

1. Cleanse, tone, and exfoliate the skin. Moisten the area to be treated - either with water or an ampoule mixed with water.

2. Open the sealed Algae Gel Mask with dry hands and place the matrix shapes onto moistened skin (excluding eye areas). OR place the shapes into a small bowl, add water, wait for gel to form. Stir with a spatula and apply with a masking brush.

3. Spread and massage the pliable gel over the skin for approximately 10-20 minutes by applying continuous moisture by steam, sponge, or brush.

4. Direct steam (not ozone) onto the areas being treated at a 30-40cm distance. Steaming should continue throughout the entire treatment. *If steaming is contra-indicated or not available, you may use a sponge moistened with water, a soft brush, or a trigger spray with water. Moisten regularly with fingertips dipped in water to achieve optimum pliability of the gel while massaging.

5. Do not let the mask dry. If this happens, redampen and wait for it to gel again.

6. Remove remaining gel with a tissue followed by a warm compress.

7. Finish treatment with a light moisturising emulsion appropriate for the skin type.
