Description

The hair-inhibiting elixir is the second and final step in our Folifree Non-Laser Treatment. Plant enzymes inhibit hair growth while respecting the skin resulting in effective hair reduction. Clinically proven to reduce hair by up to 85%.

A botanical elixir of Flower and Plant Extracts, proven to debilitate hair growth. Blocks enzymes and hormones responsible for stimulating hair growth while weakening the Alpha-Helix of Keratin strands. Overtime, this formula will work to reduce the quantity and thickness of hairs.

 

Key Ingredients

  • Telocapil: Derived from the Myrtle plant, Telocapil works to prevent stimulation of hair growth cycles. It is an efficient natural active compound that reduces the quantity and thickness of hairs.
  • ARP100: A blend of Pumpkin Seed Oil, Rose Bay and Saw Palmetto, a synergistic trio to inhibit hormones which stimulate hair growth and weaken the hair structure.

The simple 2-step Folifree protocol is performed immediately after waxing or other hair removal treatments and continued at home by the client.

The Science

  • Inhibits 5-Aplpha-Reductase Enzyme: The ARP100 complex blocks this enzyme. This results in the hormone Dihydrotestosterone being unable to stimulate hair growth.
  • Blocks Tyrosine Kinase Activity: The key active in Telocapil restricts the activity of Insulin-Like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1). IGF-1 normally activates the Tyrosine Kinase enzyme to stimulate an Anagen Growth Phase. By restricting this process, hair growth is delayed or prevented.
  • Weakens Hair Structure: Found in ARP100, the amino acid Proline weakens the Alpha-Helix in the Keratin strands of our hairs. This weakens their structure and strength during regrowth.

How to Use

We recommend performing a small patch test of Foliprime to see the skin’s response and allow the client to feel the sensation. The product is supposed to bring warmth to the skin and may slightly tingle as blood flow is increased.

 

Professional Protocol

Perform the following protocol immediately after waxing or other hair removal treatment for optimal results.

  • Ensure the skin is completely free of any wax residue and excess cleanser has been blotted away.
  • Apply a generous amount of Foliprime to the palm of your hands.

  • Massage over the entire area until completely absorbed.

  • Allow 5 minutes for Foliprime to dilate the follicles and increase skin temperature. A warmth & tingle may be felt.
  • Apply a generous amount of Folifree to the palm of your hands.

  • Massage over the entire area with much firmer pressure and stimulating massage movements.

 

Homecare Protocol

  • Homecare products are applied in the same order and with the same method as the professional treatment.
  • Use twice daily for a minimum of 10 days. For best results, use twice daily in between waxing appointments. At each waxing appointment the professional treatment is re-performed.
  • Wait 10 minutes before applying any other cosmetics.
  • Wait at least 2 hours before showering and swimming.
  • Wait at least 24 hours before exposing the area to the sun.
