This hand piece attachment is the Infrared 850nm LED light which can penetrate into the body up to 2.5cm in depth. This infrared light is not blocked by blood and water and has a positive effect on injured cells and is useful for skin rejuvenation, collagen stimulation, wound healing and scar reduction.
In the past it was considered that lasers were required to produce the light, however it has been shown that LED’s are just as good. This infrared light treatment can be used before or after microdermabrasion treatments.
